For Coast Imaging the health and well-being of our patients, staff and the wider community are our highest priority. All of our centres are open and as state-of-the-art medical facilities, we always observe the highest infection control standards.


We have implemented additional precautions with enhanced disinfection and sterilisation processes. All staff and patients have access to personal protective equipment (PPE) and we have introduced mandatory wellness and travel screening criteria as defined by the Health Department.


With the assistance of Sonic Healthcare, Hunter Imaging Group is well resourced and will remain up to date with the latest developments, ensuring we follow all Health Department guidelines and directives as they evolve.

The following criteria (as at 19 March 2020) will require self-isolation for a period of 14 days:

  • If you have travelled overseas in the last 14 days or;
  • Returned from an identified hotspot in the last 14 days
  • You have been in close contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case in the past 14 days;
  • You have any of the following symptoms – fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath

If these apply to you, please give us a call on 132 336 between the hours of 7.30am and 7pm Monday to Friday, and 8.00am – 12.30pm Saturday, and our Patient Services staff will be happy to assist by arranging your appointment outside the 14 day isolation period.
